Although I speak French, I’m not fluent in the way that 20 year olds speak. I'm trying to make friends with what feels like a partially-amputated personality.
When I lived in NYC, it once hit me that every day when I got off the subway, I could turn around and look at the Brooklyn Bridge on my way to work. I miss that. I miss *being* in New York.
Thanks, Joe! I’ve never spent enough consecutive time in New York to feel the burdens of *living* there, but it sure is a special place to *be.* And you’re absolutely right- there’s something surreal about passing postcard-worthy landmarks before beginning just another Tuesday.
I would have snatched that Burberry coat so fast - you have much more self control than I do 😮💨
Andrew, you would LOVE this store. But trust me, I had to be dragged away. Send condolences to my credit card, she’s been working overtime.

I don't miss *living* in New York.
Anyway, great post!
